Why the diagnostic estimate should be case-specific
For an international self-pay patient, the useful question is not only the scanner price. The center first needs to confirm the clinical indication and the exact examination protocol. UKE describes international-patient estimates as being prepared from the medical plan and applicable German billing rules before prepayment and appointment confirmation.

Resting CMR and stress CMR are not the same examination
Cardiac MRI can be used for ventricular function, cardiomyopathy and tissue characterization, while stress-perfusion MRI adds pharmacologic stress and additional monitoring to evaluate inducible ischemia. Ask the center to state whether the quotation is for resting CMR, stress CMR or another dedicated protocol.
Implants and contrast can change preparation
Pacemakers, ICDs and other implanted devices require exact device information and center-specific MRI safety assessment. Kidney function can matter when gadolinium contrast is planned. Do not assume that an implant automatically excludes MRI or that every cardiac MRI requires the same contrast protocol.

Cardiac MRI, coronary CT angiography, echocardiography and invasive coronary angiography answer different questions. A cardiology review should determine which test is most likely to change management before international travel is arranged.
